5 Guardian Account Guardians: Stay in-the-know!
Have your guardian create a guardian account at:

Use this button to book a time for a phone call. Use this for Welcome Calls, DBA’s and tutoring.

7 Grace Period: You will be in a grace period for 3 weeks
During this time, you can drop without any penalty To stay in the course after your grace period: You MUST be ON PACE (or ahead of pace) You MUST be active (submitting each week and passing, and staying in contact with me!) You are in week 1 now so make sure to get started ASAP so you are not behind!

Green means I am available for your call. Make sure YOU call and your parent is available for a chat. If I do not answer leave a message (this may occur if I am finishing another call. I will get back with you ASAP as I respect your time as well).

9 You are in week 1 now! You MUST follow the pace guide or work ahead of pace to remain in the course.
If you go ahead of pace, you MUST submit each week to stay in the course!

12 See discussion groups? You will click here when you post to the discussion boards (if your course has discussion board assignments) Notice what you see on your menu screen once you click on it! See grade book? You will click on grade book to redo assignments for a better grade.

13 Red means you need to redo the assignment
Red means you need to redo the assignment. Your gradebook cannot have any red when you schedule your DBA. Redo ALL low grades before you book!

14 Once you click on the assignment, scroll down and notice the reset button! Click to reset so you can resubmit it for a better grade! You have 3 tries!

15 PACE FYI: -Make sure not to skip assignments. All assignments should be completed in order. Do NOT wait till the end of the course to complete both DBA’s. This will NOT be allowed. The ONLY reason you may skip an assignment is if you have a specific reason to do so such as: -You cannot complete 3.03 hike this week because your family is going on a hike Monday of next week. In this case, skip it for now, and complete it after your hike (obviously). -You have your DBA scheduled for Tuesday and cannot complete the DBA today. In this case, skip it for now (make sure you booked) and move to the next assignment. -IF YOU SKIP AN ASSIGNMENT for any reason, you MUST complete an EXTRA assignment to stay on pace. Complete an assignment scheduled for next week IF YOU MUST SKIP AN ASSIGNMENT. If not, you will be behind pace and risking being withdrawn from the course.
