Noun A noun is the name of a person, place, or thing. Examples:
Nouns can be common (describes a class of persons, places, or things) or proper (describe a particular person, place, or thing). Proper nouns are capitalized. Common nouns are not. Examples of common: Examples of proper:

An adjective changes the way that we think about a noun or pronoun.
Adjectives change the image of a noun in our mind Example: strong arms compared to nuclear arms; fried chicken compared to spring chicken

Proper Adjectives Proper adjectives are made from proper nouns and must be capitalized. Examples: English, Spanish Articles are adjectives, too A, an, and the are adjectives
