Tuesday: The Odyssey Accuplacer letter & practice test – read & give to your rents! Take the practice test during break and check your answers online. Take notes on The Odyssey movie (at least a page). Subtitles: Cyclops, Land of the Dead, Scylla & Charybdis, Suitors Notes: Your textbook doesn’t provide ALL episodes so there will be some parts of the movie that we didn’t read. We won’t be watching the entire movie in class. Before the test on Friday, watch it if it will help you (you can find it on YouTube!). Choose one prompt to respond to and explain with detail: What are you looking forward to during break? Where would you go and what would you do if you could go/do anything? Planner Monday after break: Read something and write 2 page summary/reflection (double spaced)and: Include/label all types of sentence forms (simple, compound, complex, & compound-complex). Identify/label independent & dependent clauses. Use proper punctuation & capitalization. Check for run-ons.
