Five Reasons Plants Are Important
1. Many plants are important sources of products that people use, including food fibers (for cloth) ,and medicines. 2. Plants provide a place for animals to find food and plants provide shelter. 3. Plants provide food for animals and for people to eat. 4. Plants are important elements of out human world. 5. Plants and animals need oxygen gas to survive. When we breathe, it is the oxygen gas that we take of air to keep our cells and bodies alive.

Stems Stems support the plant. They act like plumbing systems, conducting water and nutrients. Roots Roots act like straws absorbing water and minerals from soil. Roots help to anchor the plant so it doesn’t fall over. Leaves Leaves are a most common plants food. Flowers Flowers are the reproductive part of most plants.

First, the plant starts of as a seed.
The stem pushes through the soil pulling the leaves with it. Flowers bloom! Above the ground the stem elongates as the plant reaches upward for light. At the 9th day, the plant begins to turn to reproduction. The leaves and the stem grow.

Pollination is important because it leads to creation to new seeds and food for us.
Pollination happens by people transferring pollen from one flower to another. Pollination is the act of transferring pollen grains from a male anther of a flower to the female stingma.

2. A gas is released when you cut onions that irritates you eyes, the tears you produce while this happens are your body’s way of washing it from your eyes. 3. Peanuts are beans. 4. Avocados have the highest calories of any fruit at 167 calories per hundred grams.
