Goal 1: Attendance as a School Priority Data: Consistent Increase in Attendance Rate (2016: 91.7%; 2018: 93.1%) Decline in Chronic Absenteeism, 10+ Days (2017: 22.9%; 2018: 15.9%) Goal 2: Decrease Dropout Rate Data: Graduation Rate Increase (2016: 86.2%; 2018: 90.2%) Drop Out Rate Increase (2015: 1.0%; 2017: 2.5%) Goal 3: Improve Achievement Gap MCAS Data: All Students (Meeting or No Change in target achievement) High Needs/Lowest Performing Students: (Below target achievement)

PNHS SIP GOALS : STUDENT VOICE & SCHOOL CULTURE: Opportunities for enhanced student leadership and student voice to improve school culture. PARENT OUTREACH: Family outreach to encourage participation in all areas at PNHS. RIGOR: Develop initiatives for the inclusion of rigor and analysis to improve achievement for all students in all levels. NEASC: Complete the PNHS Self Study and NEASC evaluation, and develop focused programs to put into action to improve where needed to improve our product for students. PPS DISTRICT GOALS: Enhance student social and emotional growth, health and welfare and demonstration of civic responsibility. Increase family and community engagement Enhance academic achievement of all students on all levels. Provide strong District and School leadership.

Restructure & Redesign Parent Nights Program Focused Allow for connection & communication Improve opportunities for regular family communication Parent Page Increased use of Social Media Enhance collaboration between parents and staff Coordination with sports, academic and co-curricular parent groups Development of specific times and opportunities for parent involvement Parent Outreach Data: 16% of parents strongly agreed that school provides information on student services and opportunities 51% of parents felt they had opportunities to be involved in important decision making in the school -NEASC Endicott Survey

Develop & Instill a school wide definition of “rigor” Centered on Analysis, Higher Level Thinking Essential Questions & Inquiry School Wide Opportunities for Data Analysis Reflections & Initiatives to improve AP & MCAS Scores Strategies to improve performance for ALL students Coordinated Professional Learning Communities Increased opportunities for collaboration of like teachers (AP, CP1, CP2, Departments…) Improved opportunities for rigorous faculty Professional Development Initiatives to boost student performance Programs to motivate and prepare students for MCAS & AP testing, Attendance & Effort in Class Recognition of Grit & student Academic Enthusiasm Implementation of increased rigor for ALL students Rigor & Academic Performance Data: 69% in Math, 74% in Science were Advanced or Proficient on MCAS Our school fell below improvement targets across varied points for analysis in some special populations 35% of teachers felt they had time to collaborate

Completion and Submission of the NEASC Self- Study Completion of the NEASC Visitation in October, 2019 Development of Action Plan based on Self-Study and findings Coordination with Faculty Senate Development of 2 and 5 year plans Implementation of Key Initiatives based on information gained through NEASC process Schoolwide Data to Reflect Upon: 43% of students felt they had input in decisions at PNHS 54% of students felt “proud” of their school 17% of Students, 21% of Staff & 32% of Parents felt they were clear on learning expectations in our school -NEASC Endicott Survey
