2 Cardboard tubes (the larger and thicker the better)
To understand how a camera obscura works and how it links to photography. To create a camera obscura Materials Cardboard tubes (the larger and thicker the better) Baking foil (roll) Greaseproof paper or tracing paper (roll) Strong tape (e.g. parcel, gaffer) Scissors A small pin Instructions Cut about 5cm from the end of the tube,  and tape a piece of tinfoil over the end Cover the end of the longer section with a piece of greaseproof/tracing paper (taping it down securely) before re-attaching the shorter section of tube so that the tinfoil is at the end. Make a tiny pin hole in the centre of the tinfoil and look down the tube. You should observe an upside down image projected onto the greaseproof paper screen inside the tube.
