2. Highlands Vs. Brackenridge
The Highlander battalion went to the last football game of the year and saw what was suppose to be a win and witnessed a loss. Sad as it was watching our fellow owls lose the most important game of our senior year still did not deprive us of our moments watching and cheering them on for the big win.

3. J.R.O.T.C Thanksgiving Dinner
We like to think of JROTC as a family and the day of our thanksgiving dinner we showed that we are more that students or cadets in this program, WE ARE FAMILY. The night of the dinner we started by pre paring the dinner and setting up the tables and food. By the time everybody got there we officially started the event with a opening prayer by our battalion commander David Cuellar. By the end of the dinner we started the dancing portion of the party. The cadets danced the night away until about 8:30 pm when we ended the party and began the clean up like all families do after a thanksgiving dinner.

Gratitude is the inward feeling of kindness received. Thankfulness is the natural impulse to express that feeling. Thanksgiving is the following of that impulse.
