To glorify military action and to build up you army to compete with other nations.

4. Assassination
To kill suddenly or secretively, especially a  politically prominent person.
The assassination of a political leader was one of the main causes of WWI.

5. Ultimatum
A final set of demands

6. Mobilize
To prepare your military forces to go to war.

7. Neutrality
Policy of supporting neither side of a war.

8. Stalemate
A deadlock in which neither side is able to defeat the other.

9. U-Boats
Nickname for a German submarine.

10. Convoy
Groups of merchant ships protected by military ships or vehicles.

11. Total War
War that requires all the resources and people of one country be involved in the war effort.

12. Draft/Conscription
Requires all young men to be ready for military service, if selected you must go.

13. Propaganda
Spreading of ideas to promote a cause (such as a war effort)

14. Atrocities
Horrible acts committed during war on innocent people.

15. Reparations (Hint: money/war)
Payment for war damages, using the losing side has to pay this.
