4 Summary of chapter 12 Conrad does other stuff now that he has free time and does not have to go to swim practice. He still has not told his parents, so he studies and does other stuff around town. Lazenby is worried about Conrad, and Conrad tells him that he left the swim team because he was bored of it.

5 Quote “Maybe you gotta feel lousy sometime, in order to feel better. A little advice, kiddo, about feeling. Don't think too much about it. And don't expect it always to tickle.” This is what Berger leaves off with, with Conrad and its telling him to stop thinking so much.
