14 AFTER EFFECTS OF THE HOLOCAUST
The Holocaust was the systematic killing of Jews and anyone else Hitler felt needed to be exterminated. Six million Jews were murdered out of nine million. The Jews were just scapegoats for Germany's problems. That can hardly be answered in this brief response. Millions of generations of Jewish and other "forbidden peoples" families were stopped in their tracks due to the intolerance and ignorance of Nazis. The war itself ruined beautiful cities, towns and villages. It also made many people go into hiding but, when they were found they were taken away to concentration camps. So they never saw their family's again. Some were killed right in front of their family members, and others went into gas chambers.
