Trade stories with a partner. Read it out loud to them (their story). Make any editing marks needed.
Put both names on the story, so I know who you worked with.
Turn in your rough draft with your final copy.
Make sure you have the correct formatting
Courier New, 12 point 1 inch margins. Names centered. Slug lines italicized. Actor directions in parenthesis
Needs to be at least a page.
But also needs to be a complete story (will most likely be 2 or 3 pages)
Include:
Character names and dialogue
Narration/ Scene Snap shot
Slug Lines
Setting
Actor Directions
Scripts are due today!!

As you read, write down your main characters and create a character chart for them.
It’s your chart, so include what you feel is necessary to write a script.
You will turn this in at the end of class for a grade, so make sure you’re working on it as you read!
