Despite this potential, the link between universities and the economic environment is still very limited for several reasons: Research is still very academic with deliverables rather oriented to masters or doctorates thesis Sales of expertise are at the individual and sporadic Universities’ Human Resources are used in the private sector in demeaning terms for concerned and universities Transferable results languishing in labs

The classic model of partnership what does it mean? -Apart from cases of collaborative research, the model is almost in one direction in the form of provision to meet a market driven by companies, associations or communities -The creation of startups with all the researchers contractor processing limits -The researchers project developers have knowledge but are limited means to create businesses - All this that we need a suitable solution !!!

The program is a very innovative collaboration highlighting the complementary skills and expertise of partners, as well as their common interest in sustainable development in West Africa The program focus on three specific objectives Training: Train 200 technicians and electricians working in Senegal’s Energy sector Applied research dedicated to Energy sector Feature a specific component devoted to research in Renewable Energy Technical support to companies Technical support to companies throught a photovoltaic solar system test Center (CT2S) 1212

15 V-Conclusion ACE-IMPACT is oriented toward the impact of training and research to the socio-economic world It is planned to build this the way of closer relationship between the CEA and the socio-economic world The ingredients are combined to go towards an innovative model (business liaison university cluster among others) The model skill based cells with developers of innovation and business developers would be suitable for this successful relationship to infinity between the Centers of Excellence and the socio-economic world in an economic impact and social logic
