2. Ud. Command
Ud. commands are used when directing someone you don’t know as well or someone with whom you need to show respect.
Ud. commands are used more often than tú commands.

3. Ud. command For regular Ud. commands, there are basic steps:
Conjugate the infinitive into the yo form present tense.
Drop the –o
If the infinitive ends in –ar, add –e.
If the infinitive ends in –er/-ir, add –a.
Use “Ud.” after the command to indicate that it is a command and not another conjugation.

4. Ud. command Examples Speak Hable Ud. Run Corra Ud.
Hablar – hablo- habl- hable
Hable Ud.
Run
Correr – corro- corra
Corra Ud.

5. Uds. command For regular Uds. commands, there are basic steps:

9. Ud. / Uds. Command
Ud. and Uds. commands are the same– just add an –n to the Uds. form.
There are many irregulars that have special cases depending on the ending of the infinitive. The good thing is that they are the same for both Ud. and Uds. commands
