Questions How is the “landscape” of the United States changing?
How did the growth of industry impact the United States? Did it bring conflict, change, progress? Does everybody feel this way?

Connections Create a graphic organizer showing how each placard is interrelated with one or two others. Along the connector line, briefly explain the relationship. Example Explain how Electricity and the telegraph were related. Explain how patents, workers, and exports were interrelated. Telegraphs used electricity to transmit messages; so as the need for telegraphs as a communication source grew so did the need for electricity
