Using the verb “Use” What is a remote control used for?
“Used for” means why or how something is used Use(d) to – you have to use a verb in the present form, i.e.: turn BE CAREFUL! “…used to…” can also mean in the past. “I used to eat at that restaurant.” “used to eat” means “ate” Use(d) for – you have to use a verb in the gerund form; i.e.: turning “It is used for putting on your shoes.” Use(d) by – when talking about an object or persons or animals “Hydrogen is used by the sun to create energy.”

Korea is the most technologically advanced nation on Earth. Korea has many problems with technology, however. In groups, you have an article. Read it and come up with a five minute response talking about these questions: What is the problem? How is it a problem in society? What can we do to avoid it or change it?
