You can do it as a spider diagram brainstorm: What are going to research? Why is it important for people to know about this issue? Why did you choose this topic? Be prepared to work on your research reports and annotated bibliography. Specifications for the Writing Strand Your introduction identifies the social issue to be discussed, and states why it is important to learn about that issue; Your body paragraph uses at least three correctly-cited quotations (one from each periodical, and one from a video) to inform your reader about the social issue; Your conclusion restates the significance of the issue, summarizes your evidence, and leaves your reader interested in learning more about your social issue.
