Conclusion 1. Anna had high blood glucose levels due to her diabetes. Which caused fat to be burned and ketones to be released. High ketone levels are toxic to the human body. Anna’s ketone level was so high it caused her brain to swell and caused her to fall into a coma and eventually die. 2. Nervous: Ketones are poisonous to the brain and can cause confusion as well as memory loss. Cardiovascular: The buildup of ketones caused a heart attack. 3.Anna would have experience severe abdominal pain and confusion. 4. Checking her blood glucose levels, taking insulin, and giving her intravenous solutions. 5. Hematology: Studying blood and seeing the other substances in blood is interesting. Microbiologist: Studying small organisms through a microscope is like looking at a different universe.

6.1.2 Autopsy Report Many factors lead up to the death of Anna Garcia. One factor was he Ketones levels. High levels of ketones are toxic to the human body systems. The high levels caused her brain to swell and cause her to fall into a coma. Also her heart disease caused her to have a heart attack. Anna Garcia’s death was caused by many health issues.
