Complications and Dangers of Anorexia Nervosa:
Amenorrhea- menstrual period ceases Normal growth/development may stop Loss of muscle tissue as well as body fat Bone density decreases- may result in osteoporosis Blood pressure and pulse rate drop- organs begin to die Starvation Depression-could lead to suicide
