1. Week of: May 4 – May 8 We’ve Been Busy! A Look at Next Week…
This week in our Phonetic Connections curriculum, we focused on the /q/ sound. We practiced rhyming words, segmenting/blending, and writing and reading CVC words.
We spent the week studying insects: reading fiction and nonfiction texts, singing songs, and writing about insects!
In math, we reviewed place value and practiced our kindergarten math skills to prepare for assessments.
