RS 1 The cam mounted to the main shaft of the flat spring motor turns in a counterclockwise direction.

RS 2 The force of the cam’s rotation against the leg armature causes the main coil spring to be stretched (storing energy) and the torso of the mouse to be pushed downward and forward.
