Management Safety Policy
Reflects management safety commitment Signed policy statement Safety rules Disciplinary policies Safe behaviors Authority and accountability Management and their role in safety is vital to any organization. The President ( Executive Team) should develop the safety policy, sign it and post it prominently in the plant. Employees must be aware of the executive commitment to the plan. In turn employees must have a set of active safety rules, authority and accountability for the safety of all employees. Total Safety Cultures depend on the interaction between executives, employees and all visitors to the company. Of course when the employees and management are not exhibiting this commitment, disciplinary policies help reinforce their responsibility toward safety. 5/21/2019
