2. What are pronouns? A pronoun is a word used in place of a noun.
Pronouns take their meaning from the words they replace.
The word or words that a pronoun stands for is called an antecedent.

5. Personal Pronouns Pronouns that refer to people or things.
Has two cases
- Subject (used in the subject of a sentence or after linking verbs. May be used like a predicate noun.) Ex. I enjoyed the book. The most popular singer was he.
-Object (used in the objective case. It is used as the direct object or indirect object of a verb.) Ex. The expert told us about the new computer.
