Anecdote: A personal story or descriptive experience Statistic: CITE where you got the fact from! Single word or phrase that relates to your topic for “shock” value

Intro “NO NOs” NO QUESTIONS NO FIRST PERSON …repeat: NO QUESTIONS!!!

Crafting Your Conclusion
RESTATE your thesis: Use DIFFERENT words!!! Return/connect back to the attention-getter: Use DIFFERENT words to express the SAME idea! Last few sentences indicate what the reader should now do ABOUT your topic…how can they help? How can they support you?

Conclusion “NO NOs” DO NOT write, “In conclusion…” or “To conclude,”
or “To sum up,” NO FIRST PERSON Thesis MUST be reworded! Do NOT introduce a new idea or concept at the END of your paper!
