Ratify (approve or reject) treaties (only the Senate does this)

Override a veto it takes 2/3 of BOTH houses of Congress 100 x 2/3 = 67 (instead of 51) 435 x 2/3 = 288 (instead of 218)

Appropriate money the President creates the “budget”…which is a list of money need to run the country (bill begins in the House)

Impeach and remove the President or Vice President (IMPEACHMENT by the House) (TRIAL & REMOVAL by the Senate)

Impeach and remove a federal judge (IMPEACHMENT by the House) (TRIAL & REMOVAL by the Senate)
