3 Stations Directions- 20 minutes/ station
WWII Diversity in Arms: Jigsaw 4 readings (African-Americans, Latinos, Japanese-Americans and Navajo) – Take notes of main ideas in reading Share out and lead other group members to take outline notes of your reading On Stations Passport: Create a badge for one diversity group (must be colored and relevant) and write 1 paragraph underneath explaining significance of that diversity group during WWII and why you believe this diversity wasn’t “popular” in the history books. Rationing During WWII Read “Rationing During WWII” info sheet and take outline notes Read “Rationing Your Birthday Party” sheet Answer questions on Rationing in WWII worksheet (write answers in Stations Passport) Cryptology Read info sheet and take outline notes Read Top Secret letter and app instructions Open “Enigma Machine Lite” App (you can download it for free) OR YOU CAN CREATE YOUR OWN CODE SYSTEM Write the codes you break or made in your Stations Passport and a 2 sentence reflection on cryptology
