4 Trigger A trigger is an issue or event that has occurred that got you thinking about the topic. It needn’t be something that has happened to you. It could be something you have read. A trigger could be introduced at the beginning of the piece or embedded within the body of the article.

5 Cohesion Cohesion is developed through using consistent language devices and clear structure Your title should also help create cohesion by relating to your article in a clever, thought provoking way. Plan an image that you want to develop throughout the text Plan a structure that develops and idea in a logical manner
