A law that protects people’s products from being stolen.

7. How do we respect copyright laws?
No copies without permission
Only use 30 seconds of a song
Only use 30 minutes of a movie
Give credit to the author!

8. Rules about Photocopy Copying for personal use is fine
Giving copies to classmates is not

9. What is “Fair Use”?
Part of someone’s work can be used without permission

10. What is Public Domain? Being available to everyone
Not subject to copyright

Someone asks you for personal information
