2 I. Tribal Courts Native American tribal groups’ system of government on U.S. reservations. Hear a broad range of criminal and civil cases involving both Natives and non-natives.

D. Jurisdiction Varies depending on the location of the offense Federal law and tribal law determine the jurisdiction of tribal courts. Ex. Federal law gives federal courts jurisdiction over felonies committed by Native-Americans.
