Priority #1: Compete Tuesday’s library assignment!
Part III: Create a neat, organized study guide that outlines and highlights essential ideas found in Chapters 17 (Torts), 18 (Intentional Torts), 19 (Negligence), and 20 (Strict Liability). Your study guide should include: a major terms list and any examples/case studies that illustrate pertinent types of civil cases. For each individual chapter on Civil Law, you must also have 5 “essential questions” that should be answerable only by someone with an understanding of that section of study. Questions should be written in Jeopardy format. (i.e. “This is a category of civil law which requires only proof of causation and damages.”) Tomorrow, I will have you quiz each other using your questions – after which I will allow the victor to their win over the other person’s head, declaring themselves the All-Knowing-Champion-Of-Civil-Law, and their defeated opponent the Disappointing-And-Unlikely-To-Experience-Success-On-Tuesday-Flunkee.
