Physical Changes A Physical Change is when an object changes a physical property. A change in size, shape, texture, or state (phase). The object still is the same thing.

Chemical Changes A Chemical Change is a change in the chemical make-up of the object. The object becomes a new object. Something new is created.

Color change Temperature change Formation of a gas, bubbles, or odor. Formation of a precipitate.
