Include nasal passages, pharynx, epiglottis, trachea, lungs, bronchi, bronchioles, alveoli, and diaphragm
Air enters mouth or nose and passes into upper throat(pharynx), then moves through flap of tissue called epiglottis, and into the larynx
From the larynx, air moves into your windpipe, trachea, and through a large tube called the bronchi which takes the oxygen to your lungs
Gas exchange occurs in tiny air sacs called alveoli located inside the lungs
Capillaries surround the lungs so that oxygen can diffuse into bloodstream
