2. Expressions are just problems WITHOUT an equal sign, you can still solve them though!
Algebra uses variables, which are symbols (mainly letters) used in place of numbers
Since x is often used as a variable and looks like a multiply sign there are now 4 different ways to show multiplication

3. If you know the variable, just plug it in! m = 4 and z = 9
