Alliterations Meaning: the repetition of usually initial consonant sounds in two or more neighbouring words or syllables (such as wild and woolly) Ruby, red raspberries.. Snakes slither silently... Larry’s lizard likes leaping leopards

Metaphors Meaning: a figure of speech in which a word or phrase literally denoting one kind of object or idea is used in place of another to suggest a likeness or analogy between them (as in drowning in money). Love is a rose. The Classroom was a zoo. Life is a rollercoaster.

Similes Meaning: a figure of speech comparing two unlike things that is often introduced by like or as (as in cheeks like roses) Fit as a fiddle. White as a sheet. Sleeping like a log. Dead as a door nail.
