Individually write your own answers—due at the end of class today!
Create a list of the top ten pivotal moments in the text—these moments would help the main character learn or grow in some way—and they should follow the plot diagram.
Consider possible themes for your novel: Craft at least three different thematic statements.
Explore repetition in ideas or objects (motifs or symbols) throughout the text—write and thoroughly analyze at least three.
Analyze the influence of major characters and the effect each has on the main character.
Examine author purpose—what was his intention/reason for writing this particular text? What was his prominant tone throughout the text?
