Sarena’s recipe: to make a perfect batch of the Winning Combo (WC) you mix 4 bottles of Lime Rain (LR) and 12 bottles of Tropical Mango (TM).
One week the concession stand had 15 bottles of Tropical Mango left over. How many bottles fo Lime Rain will they need to add to make a perfect batch of the Winning Combo? Explain how you determined your answer?
The next week, Melissa made the sports drink and forgot Sarena’s recipe. Melissa mixed 3 bottles of Lime Rain with 8 bottles of Tropical Mango.
Whose sports drink was more “mango-y”, Melissa’s or Sarena’s? Make a table and/or diagram that will help you to decide.
