3. So what does a mentor do?
Freshmen Mentors are leaders among their classmates and help freshmen make a home as a Panther!!!

4. Why would I do this? Give back to your school community
Earn you’re A+ tutoring and community service hours
Develop leadership skills with specialized training
Looks great for college applications and scholarships

5. Besides mentor freshmen what else do I do?
Mentors will go on field trips
Participate in district wide events like assemblies and MAP motivation
Participate in community services roles as needed

6. Sounds like kind of a commitment?
Freshmen mentoring does take some time.
You are expected to attend weekly meeting during late starts
Attend summer training and field trips
Attend district leadership days

7. Sounds like a great fit. How do I apply?
Fill out the Google doc application on our FMP website.
Ask ALL your teachers to complete recommendations
Go through a professional interview with teacher committee
