You will be going through a mock online final. This will prepare you for the state final. If you have any questions, raise your hand and wait to be called on. DO NOT GO FURTHER THAN THE TEACHER. Follow the directions the first time. Log out of your chromebooks and get to the sign on screen.

8 Individual Practice Analyze the poem on pgs using the SOAPSTone method. Write it down on a piece of paper with your name at the top. Label each piece of analysis with its corresponding poetry element. How does the form help you understand the poem? What type of poetic form is used? How do you know?

How did form play a role in your understanding of the poem? Which type of form does this poem exemplify? Using the form from this poem, how would you construct a meaningful poem for football, soccer, or basketball?
