REMEMBER: Volume is how much space something takes up.
Although you might not see it, particles in a solid are moving slightly by vibrating in place.

Liquids have a FIXED or DEFINITE volume but they take the shape of the container they are in.
For example, when you pour milk into a glass, the milk takes the shape of the glass.
Some liquids are thick like a milkshake and some are thin like apple juice. But all liquids can be poured.

It will fill up whatever space it has.
