Starter of the day On the left side of the page write down the objective of the day & what techniques you might use to create water in a watercolor painting. If you have forgotten the experiments check your watercolor test. On the right side draw an image related to the theme “ocean”.

Agenda Go over what we did last time.
Listen and watch demonstration of how to paint the final details of your resist trees. Spend the rest of class working on your watercolor painting. Exit pass.

Last time Last time we painted our background and took off the glue to reveal the space for our trees. Some were able to start painting their trees last time.

Step 4 Remove the glue by rubbing it with your fingers

Step 5 Add leaves and color to tree to create depth.

The assignment Paint the shadows and details of your painting.
Dry your painting. Remove the painting from the board. Fill out artist statement & rubric with at least 3 art terms used correctly in full sentences. Color Space Value Balance Texture All of these are terms that could be used to describe your piece.

Is your name on your starter assignment & your watercolor paper? Did you turn in your Starter Assignment with all questions answered? Did you finish painting your watercolor painting?
