Hormones: Chemical messengers
Endocrine system controls: mood regulation, growth and development, tissue function, metabolism, sexual function and reproductive processes.

4. How does the endocrine system help with regulation?
The pituitary gland secretes nine hormones that directly regulate many body functions and controls functions of other glands.
Adrenal glands release Adrenaline helps prepare for and deal with stress.
Pancreas help to keep the level of glucose in the blood stable
Thyroid regulates the body’s metabolism

6. How does the Nervous system help with regulation?
The hypothalamus helps maintain the body’s homeostasis.
Hypothalamus also plays a central role in regulating as sleep, thirst, hunger, sex and emotional and stress responses.
The hypothalamus receives inputs about the state of the body, and must be able to initiate changes if an imbalance occurs.
The hypothalamus also controls the pituitary gland (master gland)
