Example 4 Identify the number of solutions of the inequality:
8x – 4 ≥ 4(2x – 1) 8x – 4 ≥ 8x – 4 -8x x -4 ≥ -4 -2x + 9 < -2(x – 3) -2x + 9 < -2x + 6 +2x x 9 < 6 All Real Numbers because -4 ≥-4 is True. No Solutions because 9 < 6 is False.
