What makes a good website??
Teacher Lead Activity You might want to do a paper fight, snowballs, discussion, writing on desks with the whiteboard pens, discussions – I have included some pictures on the next slides to help you.

Talk about some of the following design aspects: -
Too many objects on one page Difficult to find the information Hasn’t stuck to one colour The change in font colour Too many images Text on top of images Buttons are messy

Good design Organisations of tables Buttons clear to read One focus images rather than multiple images Minimal text which is straight to the point Easy to use

Success Criteria As a group we’re going to decide our success criteria for a webpage about On-line Safety. Colour scheme, headings, logo, relevant use of images.

Success Criteria What should there be evidence of 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Set a personal target here : - Try to show off what you can do You’re required to plan an ‘Online Safety’ website on paper using the success criteria mentioned previously. You must include : 4 Pages, Navigation buttons, a Banner graphic and a Colour theme You must: Make sure that you tell people how to report incidents

Homework You are required to produce the text for your four pages of the website. This is due in for your lesson next week. Make sure that you: Include information about the danger and how to avoid it Tell your audience how to report an incident and give them advice
