2. How To Answer FRQs Step 1: Read the question
You get a 10 minute reading period, use it to read the questions
Read through and make notes as needed, figure out which questions you know and which you do not.

3. How To Answer FRQs Step 2: Write on the test
Circle your task words (They will be in bold)
Underline important information
Outline your answer
A simple outline is fine, you just do not want to run out of space.

4. How To Answer FRQs Step 3: Write Your Response
For multi-part questions make sure that you separate and label each part of the answer.
WRITE LEGIBLY!!!
Make sure you complete all of the task words.

5. How To Answer FRQs Step 4: Review Your Answer Reread the prompt
Reread your answer and make sure it actually answers the question and your answer makes sense.
If you do not like how you wrote something put one line through it, no need to scribble it out.

6. DON’T DO THIS!! Leave a free response blank!
Waste time writing a book, just answer the question.
Remove the “fluff” from your writing
Get nervous or upset if you think you do not know about what the question is asking.
Take a deep breath, you probably know something in the question
