What did scientists during the Medieval period (before the Renaissance) use for their knowledge? What role did mathematics play in the scientific revolution? What two new ideas emerged to explain the organization of the planets?

4. Comparing Traditional vs. New Ideas
With a partner, complete the chart comparing the traditional beliefs with the new ideas brought about by each figure of the Scientific Revolution. You may wish to revisit the Scientific Revolution stations to help you complete the “Before” column.
