1. Warm-Up: TAG Peer Review
Trade your paint chip poem rough draft with a peer. Get theirs for yourself.
Do a TAG peer review.
Tell one thing you really like about their poem.
Ask one question to clarify and get more detail.
Give one suggestion to improve part of the poem.

2. Paint Chip Poem : Final Draft
Your final draft should be done in one of two ways:
1) Write your draft directly on your paint chip using sharpie.
2) Paste your paint chip onto a small square of paper and write it where it overlaps on the paint chip and the paper. (Using marker or sharpie).
Your name should be on the bottom if you want it publicized, or on the back if it needs to be private.

3. Memoir Project Due Date: Friday, February 12
*Note the point deductions for late projects.
*Do you really want to have to worry about a project instead of enjoying your break?!?
Use the checklist to keep track of your progress. Don’t get behind!

4. “My Name” Annotate the selections as we read.
Put stars next to lines that inspire you and you think you could model for your own writing.

5. “My Name” writing
You will write a piece about your own name to go in your portfolio.
1) Answer the questions to help you brainstorm.
2) Pick the form you want to write in. Use the examples as models to help you start.
3) Write your rough draft.
