Question: Should the drinking age be lowered to age 18?
When teens turn age 18, they become adults in the eyes of the law. They can vote in elections, serve on juries, be tried by a court of law as an adult, and defend their country by serving in the military. Therefore, I think it makes sense that people should be able to drink legally at age 18. Many year olds drink even when it is not legal. If they were able to drink legally, they could do their drinking in public places like bars and restaurants where the environment is at least somewhat regulated as to how much they drink instead of at house parties where there is no supervision.
