Mark 5:1-5
A. Jesus was met by a demon possessed man.
B. Living as a social outcast in the tombs.
C. Chains and leg irons, broke.
D. Night & day he screamed out & cut himself w/sharp stones.

7. II. The Cause of Spiritual Bondage
Mark 5:6-13
A. This man’s spiritual bondage was caused by demons.
B. They fell at the feet of Jesus & worshipped him - begged Him.
C. Jesus commanded the demons to come out of the man.
D. The demons went into a herd of pigs.

9. III. The Response to Deliverance from Spiritual Bondage
Mark 5:14-20
A. Wrong Response (v.14-17)
1. The town concluded that it would be good for Jesus to leave.
2. They had suffered a great economic loss.

B. Right Response (v.18-20)
1. The delivered man did not want to be out of the Lord’s presence.
2. He went throughout the Decapolis telling of the great thing the Lord had done.
