Hazel Grace Lancaster- a non average teenager with a disease trying to live an average teenage life
Augustus Waters- a teenager that overcame a disease and is helping Hazel live a teenage life with him
Mrs. Lancaster- Hazel’s mom, she does everything she can to take care of Hazel and make her feel good
Peter Van Houten- Hazel’s favorite author that she has looked up to and based some of her life off of one of his books

3. Plot
This story defines a teenage girl, Hazel Grace that does not have a normal life but is trying to live one. Hazel meets a boy named Augustus Waters and falls in love. Augustus was a cancer survivor so he gives Hazel hope to overcome her disease. Throughout the story these two fight their challenges and try and make the best out of everything.

4. Recommendation
I would recommend this book to teenagers or young adults. This book shows real life problems that are very interesting for this age of people to read. I think the best age range for people to read this book would be age 13 to 21. This book may spike other people not in this age range, but I feel like this will spike the most.
