2. The story of Oedipus is terribly sick.
It’s fairly long, but I’ll tell it to you quick.

3. He ran away from home to avoid a curse,
But it soon caught up with him and it got worse.

4. It was said that he would kill his father,
Then after that, marry his mother.

5. He was, you could say, a momma’s boy to the extreme.
To avoid this fate he was very keen.

6. But by trying to avoid this terrible destiny,
He wound up making it become reality.

7. So his father is dead and his wife is his mother,
Then he has a son that is also his brother.

8. When he learns he has done this terrible deed,
He takes a pin and makes his eyes bleed.

9. So let this be a lesson to everyone.
Love your wife and mother separately, not as one.
