2. What is college aggies online?
An initiative that connects college students from across the country who are interested in promoting agriculture.
Receive training and instruction from industry experts
Learn how to use social media effectively to promote agriculture
Discover ways of engaging with consumers and starting conversations
Find social media tools and resources

3. Individual Competition
Weekly assignments are given, “Aggies Homework,” focused on a specific social media platform or a segment of the agriculture community
Engage with the public by using social media, blog posts and one-on-one conversations
Industry experts host webinars and chats to educate about pertinent issues facing the industry and how to communicate about agriculture
Network with leaders in the industry and students from across the nation

4. Club Competition
Clubs pick and choose from a variety of challenges including:
Visiting your state legislators
Hosting an Agriculture Day on campus
Hosting a food drive
Handing out “Scary Meat Myths” on campus
Create an educational parody
Visit a local school and teach an Ag in the Classroom lesson
And many more!
